The mission of the Johnson Creek Protection Group is to preserve, protect, restore and

enhance the water quality, habitat and function of this cold water stream and its watershed.

¨ Maintain your vehicle!  Preventing leaks will prevent fluids from entering our lakes and streams!

¨ Wash your car on the lawn or better yet at the car wash where the waste water is treated!

Did you know?

Storm drains/sewers found in your streets quickly transport the water to the lakes and streams?  This water is not treated prior to entering the natural water courses.  It is up to us to help prevent contamination.  Check out a few things you can do in your own backyard to help.
